Solihull Editorial 28th Jun, 2024   0

THE SUMMER of sport has arrived in Solihull with free swimming, sports and fitness activities are on offer this weekend.

Leisure centres across the borough will be offering a range of free activities for a range of ages, abilities and interests on Saturday (June 29) and Sunday (June 30).

The activities will be available at Tudor Grange Leisure Centre and North Solihull Sports Centre, which are both managed by leading operator Everyone Active in partnership with Solihull Council.

Tudor Grange Leisure Centre will be offering free swim and gym all weekend, as well as a kids’ tennis session on Sunday between 10am and noon.

At North Solihull Sports Centre, there will be free family swimming all weekend, inviting adults and children to enjoy its 33-metre pool.

Wayne Desmond, contract manager for Everyone Active in Solihull, said: “We look forward to welcoming the community to our free open weekend. Whether you’re a regular customer or a newcomer to our centres, there will be a range of activities for everyone to enjoy.

“With summer in full swing, it’s the perfect opportunity to get active and have fun with your family and friends.”

Booking is recommended to avoid disappointment. Contact the centres directly for more information.
