THE QUEEN of daytime TV Lorraine Kelly has revealed the emotional pain of devastating miscarriage – 21 years on.

In an emotional chat with Myleene Klass on Wednesday’s (October 13) show, Lorraine spoke openly of the heartbreak she suffered in 2000.

“It was about 20 years ago now, when it happened to me, but you know, I think people were trying to reassure me,” she said.

“They were saying ‘oh, this is very common’, and saying ‘this happens to one in three women’.”

Her guest Myleene was unaware and the pair bonded over their shared heartache.

The star was on Lorraine to talk about her experience with baby loss and discusses the taboo over miscarriage in a new documentary, Myleene Klass: Miscarriage and Me, which airs on channel W this Thursday.

She revealed the ‘terror’ she faced during her pregnancy with son Apollo, prior to his birth in 2019, after she and her partner Simon Motson experienced four miscarriages before welcoming their son.

Lorraine airs weekdays at 9am on ITV.
