BUDDING entrepreneurs found out about life on the production line when the created and packaged bath bombs.
Business pupils from Lyndon School took part in an interactive workshop with Lush Cosmetics and found out about the effort that goes into making products and how this links to manufacturing decisions that businesses must make.
They also heard all about how the business was set up and how it developed itself as one of the leaders in ethical based products, such as their bath bombs.
The pupils then got hands on and made a Halloween themed bath bomb which they then packaged to take home.
Pupil Logan said: “I can’t believe all Lush products are made by hand and can make up to 1,000 bath bombs a day, that takes real commitment.”
Fellow pupil Harry added: “I enjoyed learning about the naked products – it’s amazing that no packaging is used for so many products.”
Head of school, Syreeta Kapswara said: “It was clear how fascinating they found learning about the history and the evolution of the business and they thoroughly enjoyed making their own spooky bath bomb too.
“At Lyndon School we really try and bring subjects to life and this visit from Lush was a great way for our Business learners to hear all about what makes a successful and ethical company.”
