A POLICE cordon was put in place in Solihull over the weekend.
West Midlands Police said it was called to Old Lode Lane, Solihull shortly after 7.30am on Saturday (September 28) after a car collided with a lamppost.
Officers attended and supported fire and ambulance colleagues, keeping the road closed for a short time.
A woman was taken to hospital, though her injuries were not thought to be life threatening.
