ALEX Davies hit a second innings century as Warwickshire played out a draw with Somerset on their return to County Championship action.
Opener Davies scored 131 from 225 deliveries and hit 15 fours and a six as the Bears finished on 270 all out at Edgbaston.
That came after the home side posted 337 all out in their first innings as Rob Yates and Michael Burgess (both 69) and Jacob Bethell (64) all scored half-centuries.
And Ed Barnard (5-42) claimed a five-for with the ball to restrict Somerset to 239 all out despite the best efforts of Kasey Aldridge (84).
The visitors required 370 in their second innings to win the match and closed on 206-4 as a quickfire half-century from James Rew (55) off just 24 balls proved in vain.
Warwickshire continue their County Championship campaign against Kent on Thursday, August 29 with the game to begin at 11am at Edgbaston.
