A SOLIHULL schoolboy has teamed up with a music festival to help raise funds for vulnerable people across the borough.

Ryan Hulance, whose philanthropic business – We Can CIC – sells empty drinks cans to a recycling centre to buy supplies for Solihull foodbank network, has joined forces with Wizzafest 2024 at Blyth Hall Farm in Coleshill.

From August 23 to 26 there will be an area dedicated to raising awareness about environmental sustainability and Ryan will be educating festival-goers on the importance of reducing waste and supporting local communities.

He’ll be hosting interactive games, offering fun and educational activities, and showcasing his custom recycling bins designed to encourage responsible waste disposal throughout the event.

Emma Jones, founder and director of Wizzafest CIC, said: “We are thrilled to partner with Ryan.

“His passion and dedication align perfectly with our mission to create a festival experience that is fun, inclusive, and environmentally conscious. Together, we believe we can make a long-lasting difference, not just at the festival, but in the wider community as well.”
