SOLIHULL Moors have completed the season-long loan signing of James Gale from Mansfield Town.
Forward Gale has put pen-to-paper on a season-long loan move with Andy Whing’s side as the club bolster their attacking options ahead of the 2024/25 campaign.
The 22-year-old recently signed a new two-year deal with the Stags following their promotion to League One.
Moors director of football, Stephen Ward, said: “I’m delighted that we have been able to secure James’ talent on a season-long loan. He played a part in Mansfield’s promotion to League One and will fit into the group nicely.
“To get someone of his ability for us is great and we can’t wait to see his work on the pitch this season.”
The forward started his career in Derby County’s academy before his release where he then starred for Long Eaton United which subsequently led to his move to Mansfield in 2021.
Gale made his debut in the EFL Trophy for the Stags in a 6-3 win over Newcastle United. The frontman then scored his first goal for the club against Manchester City under-21s.
