Attempted murder charge after Knowle 'stabbing'

A MAN has been remanded in custody on an attempted murder charge after another man was allegedly stabbed inside a restaurant in Knowle just before Christmas.

West Midlands Police say it was called to the Station Road restaurant on December 23 following reports of a disorder.

A 47-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

A second man was also threatened.

And 27-year-old has been charged with attempted murder, attempted grievous bodily harm and possession of a knife.




He appeared before Birmingham Magistrates Court on January 3 where he was remanded until his next court appearance.
