A PAIR of Solihull opticians put the kettle on and raised £138 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Specsavers sister stores in Solihull and Shirley each hosted a cake sale and held a raffle in aid the charity that provides specialist physical, financial and emotional support to those affected by cancer.
Rehan Bhatti, store director at Specsavers Solihull and Shirey, said: “Macmillan is an amazing charity, and we are so pleased to have raised some money to help with the important work they do.
“Our customers and the local community are always so supportive of our charity activities, and we’ve had a fantastic response to the fundraising.
“We realise that times are tough at the moment due to the ongoing cost of living crisis, so the donations received have been really appreciated.
“We want to say a massive thank you to everyone who got involved and showed their support.”
