SILHILLIANS are being called on to get their thinking caps on ready for the Age UK Solihull 40th anniversary celebrations.
The charity is hosting An Evening of Celebration at the Crowne Plaza Hotel on Homer Road, Solihull on November 1.
The evening will include a two-course meal, the chance to test party-goers knowledge and quick thinking with a Speed Quiz hosted by Mister Quiz, and a talk by Bill Farnsworth, sharing his journey as a chef at the iconic Savoy Hotel.
A complimentary welcome drink to kick off the festivities, and a glass of bubbly to toast to a night of celebration are included with the ticket.
There will be several chances to win some incredible prizes, as there will be a raffle on the night as well as prizes for the winning quiz team.
Age UK Solihull is grateful to Solihull-based software and services provider, Energy One, for their generous sponsorship, which means more of the proceeds will help the charity support older and vulnerable residents of the Solihull borough.
The charity’s digital marketing and fundraising manager, Rebecca Jacob, said: “We are so excited about this event, which will bring together Age UK Solihull’s supporters – both old and new.
“The evening will celebrate the end of Age UK Solihull’s 40th anniversary year, and kick of the festive season.
