KNOWLE take a break from league action this weekend with a trip to AFC Somers in the quarter-finals of the Birmingham FA Saturday Vase.
The Robins secured a superb 2-1 win away at league leaders Sutton United last weekend to maintain their perfect form since the turn of the year.
This weekend’s opponents are flying high in the Birmingham and District Football League Premier Division and won 5-1 away from home last weekend.
Knowle are without key man Kartel O’Neill-Martin as he serves out his suspension following his dismissal against Sutton although other players are returning from injury,
Robins’ Joint Managers Clive and Matthew Seeley said: “AFC Somers have put together good results. They will be up for this game. We need to make sure our players do not underestimate them. On the plus side, apart for not having Kartel, we shall field a full strength side.”
Entrance is free of charge.
Knowle’s clash with AFC Somers takes place on Saturday, February 11 with kick-off at 2pm at Warley Rugby Club.
