A KNOWLE retirement village has cancelled it’s coffee morning as an act of respect the late Queen Elizabeth II.
The event was due to take place on September 20 at Eleanor Lodge on Station Road.
A spokesperson said: “In light of yesterday’s very sad announcement about the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Churchill Retirement Living has decided to cancel its planned Macmillan Coffee Morning event.”
