Woman hurt in M42 crash

A WOMAN was seriously injured on the M42 near Birmingham Airport following a crash.

The northbound carriageway between junction 5 and junction 6 was been closed off on Saturday, September 3, just before 3am.

West Midlands Police said a passenger in her 50s is believed to have suffered head injuries which are potentially life threatening.

Two drivers, a man in his 60s and a second man in his 40s, were treated at hospital and their injuries were not believed to be life threatening.




The force said it had spoken with witnesses and are retrieving dashcam and CCTV footage as enquiries continue.
