Solihull garden looking blooming marvelous ahead of open day at weekend

Solihull Editorial 15th Jun, 2022   0

BEAUTIFUL blooms are ready to shine as Solihull residents get ready to open their gardens in aid of the Stroke Association.

The Victorian and Edwardian houses along St Bernard’s Road will be open between 1pm and 5pm on June 26.

Visitors will be able to enjoy spacious lawns, a colourful range of perennial plants, vegetable cultivation and mature trees.

There will be two tea gardens and another garden with live music and Pimm’s for sale.

In addition, there will be a raffle and a children’s activity.

St Bernard’s Road gardeners are determined to raise a record amount this year after their event was cancelled due to the pandemic in 2020 and held in a reduced form last year because of restrictions.

Entry costs £5 to visit all the gardens and is free for children under 12.
