NSPCC calls on Solihull schools to enjoy an hour of play and raise funds

SCHOOLS and nurseries across Solihull are being called on to enjoy an hour of play and raise vital money to help keep children safe.

Children’s charity, the NSPCC, is asking schools to sign-up for the Big Breaktime on Childhood Day, June 10, to have an hour-long break from the school day to focus on playing and having fun.

The NSPCC also wants schools to help Ant and Dec with their Pass the Positivity campaign to raise awareness of the NSPCC ahead of the day.

Children and their families, teachers and communities are invited to share what makes them happy and positive in the form of a message, poem, or a piece of artwork.

A selection of the most inspiring messages will be transformed into an installation, which will be unveiled by Ant and Dec in June as they launch their first children’s book – Propa Happy, which will raise funds for the children’s charity.
