SILHILLIANS are being called on to find out a bit more about the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.
Solihull Council will be hosting Get Set for the Games sessions which will give businesses and residents the chance to get the most up-to-date information on the events in and around the borough.
Louise, the Council’s programme manager for the Commonwealth Games, and Kate, who is leading the organisation of The Queen’s Baton Relay in the borough will be on hand to answer questions and talk through any concerns and ideas.
The sessions will be held at:
* Chelmsley Wood Library from 9.30am and 11am on May 16
* Marston Green Library from 11.30am to 1pm on May 16
* Knowle Library from 10am to noon on May 20
* Solihull Library from noon until 2pm on May 24
* Olton Library from 10am until 11.30am on June 7
* Castle Bromwich Library from 10am until 11.30am on June 9
* Smiths Wood Library from 1pm until 2pm on June 9
* Kingshurst Library from 2.30pm until 4pm on June 9
* Hampton In Arden Library from 2.30pm until 4pm on June 10
* Balsall Common Library from 10am until 11.30am on June 13
* Dickens Heath Library from 2pm until 3.30pm on June 13
* Meriden Library from 11am until 12.30pm on June 14
* Shirley Library from 2pm until 3.30pm on June 15
* Solihull Library from 5pm until 7pm
* Chelmsley Wood Library from 5pm until 7pm.
There will be a virtual session held on June 23 from 1pm until 2pm.
