SOLIHULL Moors saw their 16-match unbeaten run come to and end after they were beaten in injury-time by league leaders Stockport County on Easter Monday.

Paddy Madden’s goal two minutes into time added on settled a close affair after Moors goalkeeper Ryan Boot had saved the striker’s penalty earlier in the half at Edgeley Park.

That result came after Solihull claimed an impressive point away at Wrexham with Joe Sbarra’s opener cancelled out by Ollie Palmer’s strike at The Racecourse Ground.

The results leave Moors in fourth place in the National League table, seven points clear of the teams in the hunt for a play-off spot with five matches left to play

Solihull are next in action at home to Aldershot Town on Saturday, April 23 with kick-off at 3pm at the ARMCO Arena.
