KNOWLE FC travel to Boldmere Sports and Social Falcons this weekend as they continue to fight for a second place finish.

The Robins returned to winning ways with a 3-0 win against Solihull rivals Hampton last weekend having previously gone three matches without a victory.

And Knowle currently sit second in the Midland Football League Division Two table, four points behind Coton Green with a game in hand, with two matches left to play.

Their opponents Boldmere are in serious danger of relegation as they sit second bottom and our outside of the drop zone on goal difference.

Boldmere are on a 12-game winless run with just two draws in that time against Lane Head and Hampton with their last league win coming at home to Inkberrow in November.

Knowle won the reverse fixture 4-0 back in October with Nathan Corry, Charlie Morris, Jay Payne and Kaine Williams all on the scoresheet.

Robins boss Clive Seeley said: “It was, I think, our best performance when we ran out four, nil winners against Boldmere at our place. We welcome back Dylon Bennett and Charlie Morris for this game.”

Entrance is £3 for adults, £2 for concessions and over 65’s whilst under-16’s go free.

Knowle’s clash with Boldmere takes place on Saturday, April 2 with kick-off at 3pm at Boldmere Sports and Social Club.
