SOLIHULL’S month-long programme of bike inspired activities across the borough continues this Saturday, February 19 in Shirley Park.
Running from 9.30am to 1.30pm the event marks the launch of a community bike hub for the area following similar launches at Babbs Mill and Tudor Grange Park.
There will also be a Dr Bike bicycle repair service, group bike rides, advice and much more, including cycle security marking by West Midlands Police.
The initiative comes after Solihull Council was awarded match-funding from British Cycling’s Places to Ride capital grants programme for four community cycling hubs, with the launch of the final one, in Elmdon Park, coming next weekend, Saturday, February 26, at the church car park.
