12 Dogs of Christmas - Buzz is an old boy who likes adventures

HOMELESS dogs are looking for somewhere to rest their paws this Christmas.

Birmingham Dogs Home has teamed up with The Observer in the hope readers will find a paw-shaped place in their hearts and homes for a four-legged friend.

The charity has seen an influx of unwanted dogs this year with life-threatening and debilitating inherited conditions being left over the lockdown period.

However it has helped to rescue, reunite and rehome over 2,000 dogs this year.

The Catherine-De-Barnes centre has 12 homeless hounds they would love to see in a home.

Birmingham Dogs Home said: “They have all been waiting very patiently to find their “furever homes”.

“If you’re looking to rehome and rescue a dog in the New Year, book a visit today to meet some of our current residents and help give a local rescue dog the new start they deserve in 2022.”

Buzz is an eight-year-old crossbreed who loves to go on adventures.

Being an older boy he will need lots of time to rest and a comfy space to sleep after exploring.

He is more interested in saying hello to everyone than playing with toys and would make a great family dog.
