KIND HEARTED Shirley schoolchildren donated much-needed items to help families in need.
As part of the annual Harvest Festival celebrations Kingswood School staff and pupils gave cake, cereals and other non-perishable foods to be handed to the Sparkhill Food Bank.
Headmaster, Rob Luckham, said: “We have supported this particular food bank for a number of years now.
“Whenever we have appealed to parents for donations, we have never been disappointed by their response.
“Once again, despite the ongoing difficult time for all of us, they have responded most generously.
“My staff have also made significant contributions themselves.”
