A NEW range of events is being held by Warwickshire Wildlife Trust at the Parkridge centre in <b>Brueton Park</b>.
Among them is the brand-new Black History Month Trail, through which visitors can discover the stories of Black environmentalists from around the world.
The trail celebrates those who have stood up for nature and includes environmentalists such as Wangari Maathai, Van Jones, and Ken Saro-Wiwa.
Parkridge centre manager Rob Halcrow said: “This year we want to celebrate our diversity and embrace the richness of all our cultures, beliefs, and backgrounds.
“At Warwickshire Wildlife Trust we are celebrating the contribution of brave and successful Black environmentalists from around the world.”
The Black History Month Trail runs for the whole of October, from 9am to 3.30pm daily. The cost is £2.50 per trail guide.
Also this autumn, the popular Halloween Treasure Trail is returning for the last week of October.
A treasure map with clues from the Parkridge café costs £3.50.
All children can collect a prize.
