A CUPPA and cake helped raise funds to support those affected by cancer across Solihull.
Cancer sufferers, families, friends, work colleagues, and customers all joined forces to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support as part of The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.
Hair by Sharon Estelle on Hermitage Road, Solihull, welcomed clients and workers to its annual coffee morning.
The hair salon raised £1,225.72 which will go towards helping people living with cancer in the UK.
There were donations of cakes, tombola prizes and volunteers who made sure everyone had a cuppa and slice of cake.
Manager Sharon Estelle said £50 was raised from a guess the name competition thanks to a customer who crocheted a Santa for the occasion.
She added: “My team at hair by Sharon estelle worked so hard-and throughout the day had fun and enjoyed another very enjoyable charity event.
“A volunteer Cyndi worked all day and she was amazing customer gave up her whole day to Macmillan.
“So on this note a huge thank you to our fantastic customers who took the time to join us raise another fantastic amount and to my staff a big thank you.”
