STAFF at a Solihull-based logistics property company got into gear and cycled around the Worcestershire countryside for charity.

A team of fitness fanatics from Prologis UK raised £29,000 during its 12th annual charity cycle ride.

The funds will be split between LandAid, a charity working to improve the lives of disadvantaged children and young people across the UK, Cure Leukaemia and Caring Minds, a Midlands’-based mental health charity that provides a wide range of inpatient, community, and specialist mental health services for service users of all ages.

Paul Weston, regional head at Prologis UK, said: “It was great to see old friends again, to bring people together and to head out into the countryside raising money for some incredible charities, who support our industry and the local communities in which our Prologis Parks are based.

“Over the years, we have built trusted and longstanding relationships with the people we work with.

“This event is a great way to have fun with them and I am always overwhelmed by their support and generosity.”

“I would like to thank everyone who cycled, donated or sponsored this year’s event, and I look forward to getting back in the saddle for the 13th Prologis 100 in 2022.”

Previous Prologis charity rides have taken cyclists around France, across the Alps, through the Lake District and over the Yorkshire Dales, raising vital funds for a wide range of charities.
