POUNDLAND will open a new store in Acocks Green at 9am on Saturday, June 26.
The new store at 1146-1158 Warwick Road, will have 17 staff and, at nearly 5,000 square feet, the former Poundstretcher unit will offer shoppers a wide range of items.
It will feature Poundland’s Pep & Co clothing as well as Pep & Co Home which launched last year.
The new store will also offer Poundland’s range of chilled and frozen food that has been introduced to more than 120 stores as part of project Diamond Ice.
Retail director, Austin Cooke, said: “West Midlands is our home, so it’s great to be investing in and opening another store in the region. We’re really looking forward to opening our doors and welcoming customers to our new Acocks Green store.”
