SOLIHULL police want to speak with these men after a man was stabbed and beaten in a block of flats.

The 44-year-old victim was stabbed multiple times – and beaten with golf clubs – after being confronted by a group of men in Sandra Croft, Smiths Wood.

West Midlands Police have named David Molloy, aged 54, as being wanted for questioning in connection with the attack at a block of flats on October 30 last year.

The information has only just been released by West Midlands Police.

They are now appealing for help to identify and speak to these men about what happened that night.

A 51-year-old man was previously charged with attempted murder and was remanded into custody.

The victim spent a couple of weeks in hospital and is continuing to recover from his ordeal.

DC Keith Clarkson, from force CID, said: “This was a nasty attack and it’s just fortunate the victim wasn’t even more severely injured.

“Despite extensive enquiries we still to need to trace and identify those we believe were involved. I’d urge anyone who knows them to contact us.”

Anyone with information I should contact police online or by calling 101, and quote 20SH/266079R/20.
