Solihull Editorial 11th Nov, 2020   0

POLICE have launched an investigation after human remains were found near Solihull’s Jaguar Land Rover plant.

The discovery was made on November 4 and the area around Damson Parkway has been cordoned off for further searches to be carried out.

Police have erected several blue tents near the scene.

A solitary bunch of flowers have been laid at the site – however, the identity of the bodies remains a mystery.

West Midlands Police said: “We are working with the Coroner and building contractors as our investigations continue into the discovery of human remains on land off Damson Parkway, Solihull.

“Various scientific tests are required to establish how long the remains have been there which will take several weeks.

“We are not currently linking the find to any criminal investigation.”
