Murder suspect arrested after woman's body found in Solihull flat

A MURDER investigation has been launched after a 38-year-old woman was found dead in a flat in Warwick Road, Solihull yesterday afternoon (Sunday July 12).

Officers found the woman with fatal injuries to her neck at around 3.20pm.

Her family have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.

A 37-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder. He remains in police custody for questioning.




Det Insp Nick Barnes from West Midlands Police CID team said: “A woman has sadly lost her life so we’re doing all we can to establish what happened to her.

“Our investigations are continuing and I’d urge anyone who may have any information to contact us as soon as possible.”
