SHOPPERS in Solihull can learn to meditate – in a mall.
Local shaman Jenny Critchlow is hosting ‘Sit with Me’ sessions in Touchwood shopping centre.
Ms Critchlow offers the sessions on Fridays, noon to 2pm, near the Apple Store in Touchwood.
She said: “The project brings mindful space into busy areas, there are chairs and meditation mats and a chair that is designated to ask questions.
“I hope to bring peaceful and meditative space to busy malls, with meditation cushions and some chairs creating a circle in the middle of the mall, allowing shoppers to come and take a few minutes to be mindful and to find a little peace – there is nothing quite so beautiful than sitting with others in peace.”
Forthcoming Sit With Me dates are February 21, March 6 and March 20.
