A BRAND new 3G pitch is to accompany the ongoing development at Solihull Moors’ SportNation.bet Stadium.
The new pitch will be located behind the Draintech end of the stadium, and will help facilitate the club’s youth sector teams, whilst also being available for use by the general public.
Work is scheduled to be completed by early August, with the astroturf that is being supplied by SIS Pitches set to be one of the first of its kind to be installed in the UK.
Moors Chariman Darryl Eales says the new addition adds to the increasingly professional set-up at the club’s home.
“The opening of the 3G will be a further important step in building a comprehensive community facility at Damson Park,” he said.
“It will be state of the art and will contribute to the Club being a vibrant hub throughout the week as well as on matchdays.”
A link to the booking system for the pitch will be available on the Solihull Moors website upon the completion of the development.
