SILHILLIANS have been invited to the annual Solihull Gets Active games, a free taster day filled with sports and activities for people with disabilities.

There will be plenty on offer at North Solihull Sports Centre from 10am until 2pm on October 5 including Bhangra burnoff, tag rugby, archery, trampolining.

Solihull Gets Active games is a fun way to get more active, try new sports and discover local services completely free of charge.

Coun Karen Grinsell, cabinet member for adult social care and health, said: “This is set to be a great day that will provide people with disabilities a chance to engage with local services, try out new activities, meet new people, and have fun in the process.




“We want to see Solihull increasing its physical activity and events like this really help to get people more involved with sport around the borough.’

Solihull Gets Active is suitable for those aged 16 and above.
