Memories sought for timeline about life at JLR plant during World War Two

Solihull Editorial 14th Aug, 2017   0

MEMORIES and first-hand experiences from the production line at the Jaguar Land Rover factory are being sought when the site made Hercules aircraft engines during World War Two.

The Experience Team at JLR are hoping to create a timeline of events at the Lode Lane plant and would like to hear from anyone who worked at the plant between 1939 and 1945 or anyone who has photos and documents that relate to that period.

The Team are also planning on taking a look the site’s immediate post war history in due course, so any material relating to the period from 1945 to 1960 would also be welcome.
