FOOTBALL: DEFENDER Connor Franklin has joined Brackley Town for the 2017/18 to be reunited with Gareth Dean.
Franklin combined with Dean during Moors’ successful promotion year.
The 29-year-old spent two seasons at Solihull and helped the club secure promotion to the National League in his first year before earning safety in his second year.
Fans will remember Franklin for his quick runs down the wings and devastating long throws which could turn the game by themselves.
The birth of his son a few months ago and commitments at work have made the long away trips in the National League a problem for the talented defender.
Solihull Moors have thanked Franklin for his service and wished him the best at Brackley Town in the future.
