SOLIHULL shoppers will have the chance to find out a bit more about eye health and the need for a routine sight test each year.
Members of the Midland Eye team will be on hand in Touchwood on May 12 to provide information on all aspects of eye health including treatment for a range of conditions including glaucoma, dry eye and cataracts.
The campaign, which coincides with Healthy Vision Month staged every May, is designed to promote eye health and raise awareness for the need to have a routine sight test every year.
Clinical Manager Erica Bowen said: “People often put off having an eye test until their sight has noticeably deteriorated, but regular tests are important because they can detect other health conditions such as glaucoma, diabetes or even high blood pressure.”
