RNLI volunteers set to take to Mell Square in fundraising mission

Solihull Editorial 3rd May, 2017   0

VOLUNTEERS from Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) Solihull Branch are hoping to raise much-needed funds.

As part of Lifeboat Day on May 13 there will be a publicity display in Mell Square, Solihull, and fundraising collections will be made in the town centre and on Dovehouse Parade, Warwick Road.

The RNLI and the Lifeboat Service is funded entirely by voluntary donations and events such as Lifeboat Days are essential to raise the necessary funds to ensure that volunteer crew members have the most up-to-date boats and equipment to save lives at sea.
