KIND-HEARTED actors raised more than a couple of laughs at their pantomime during the spring – they also managed to raise more than £500 for charity.
Residents from Cheswick Green put on three performances of Sleeping Beauty in December last year and donated the profits to the Birmingham Childrens Hospital Charity.
The cast voted to donate this amount to Matthews Mission who is supporting a young boy living in the village who is receiving treatment at the hospital.
