A BEAUTIFUL garden has been redesigned as part of the National Garden Scheme and will be revealed this weekend to raise funds for vital palliative end-of-life care.

The half acre garden, in Dorridge, has been transformed and will be opened to the public to raise funds for charities – including Macmillan Cancer Support, Hospice UK and Marie Curie Cancer Care.

Local residents can expect to be in for a treat as sculpted hedges, herbaceous borders and secret paths are among the long-list of hidden treasures in the garden.

Green-fingered residents will also be able to get their hands on a collection of blooming flowers at the garden plant sale.

Tickets for entry is £3.50 for adults and admission for children is free.

The opening of the garden, on Blue Lake Road, will take place on Sunday July 31 and run from 11.30am -5.30pm.
