WINGWALKING Pride of Britain winner Tom Lackey has taken to the skies again – this time for hos 40th and 41st wingwalks at the tender age of 95.

Tom’s latest stunts took place at the Chiltern Aerodrome and saw him raising awareness – and vital funds – for the Solihull Marie Curie Hospice.

“It was blooming freezing, but I ended up doing two wingwalks instead of the one because people wanted to see us do some aerobatics,” Tom told The Observer.

“I was delighted with the support I received on the day and hope to raise as much money as possible for Marie Curie by people donating if they have been inspired to do so by my wingwalks.”

Tom’s wingwalks – and his guest speaking at events across the region – have seen him raise well in excess of £1.5 million pounds for a variety of different cancer charities – a cause close to his heart for a variety of reasons.

If Tom’s antics have inspired you to donate, visit: www.mariecurie.org.uk/donate or call Luke Randle, Community Fundraiser, on 0121 703 3715.
