SOLIHULL schoolboy Charlie Hadley is the Midlands new U20 Indoor Triple Jump champion.
Charlie (17), who’s in the lower sixth at Solihull School, won the title at the British Indoor Athletics Championships at the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield, where he finished seventh overall in the UK.
A triple jumper for several years, Charlie jumps for the school and for Godiva Harriers.
He also plays hockey for the school 1st XI and last season made the Coventry and North Warwickshire Men’s 1st XI.
He said: “I am thrilled to be crowned West Midlands champion in my first year in the U20s,” said Charlie. “I hope to build on this promising start and work myself up the UK rankings.”
