Solihull badminton star Kiara Henry gets England call-up

TEENAGER Kiara Henry is all smiles after receiving her third call-up to the England team.

The 14-year-old has been selected to represent her country at the Home Countries badminton tournament, which takes place in Glasgow between April 28 and May 1.

Henry and her new England team mates will play Scotland, Ireland and Wales over three days to try and secure the trophy.

Kiara is an Arden School pupil and trains in both Birmingham and Milton Keynes. She also represents Solihull and Shirley badminton club as well as Warwickshire County badminton.




She is thrilled to be selected for what will be her third England representation and is training hard for the challenge.

Kiara has also been selected to represent Warwickshire in the under-17 Inter County Tournament in Nottingham in early April where the best players in the country will battle over four days for their county to win the title.
