A PRIMARY school has thanked a local business after receiving a new rugby strip and 20 new balls.

Ballsall Common Primary School received the goodwill gesture from Midshire Business Systems – and M.A Claims provided the new rugby balls required.

The new strip will ensure the school’s rugby teams generate an identity when playing inter-school competitions.

Danny Walden, sales manager at Midshire Business Systems, said: “We have formed a very strong partnership with Balsall Common Primary School.

“Not only through the provision and service of their photocopiers, but also with various sponsorship opportunities.

“We also sponsor their newsletter – printing it free of charge for them – along with supporting their Christmas and summer fairs.

“Balsall Common Primary school is one of the leading academies in the UK and Midshire is very proud to be associated with the school.”

Michael Abbott, owner of M.A.Claims said: “It is great to be able to support the rugby team and provide the new balls.

“I wish the teams all the best and hope they can build on their already impressive achievements.”

Howard Rose, funding and publicity manager said: “The children were thrilled to receive their new kit and the balls.

“I am sure it will spur them on to even greater success in the sport.”
