Police hunt armed robbers in Marston Green

POLICE are appealing for information following an attempted armed robbery in Marston Green.

At approximately 10pm on Wednesday, September 30 a white man wearing a hood and scarf over his face entered the One Stop shop in Station Road, brandishing a house brick.

He ordered the cashier to hand over money from the till but instead the assistant pressed the panic alarm causing the suspect to run off. It’s believed he escaped as a passenger in a dark coloured Ford KA.

Police have now releases CCTV images, but want anyone with any information about the incident to contact Sergeant Christopher Burt on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
