Love is in the air

Solihull Editorial 15th May, 2015 Updated: 21st Oct, 2016   0

LOVE was in the air at Birmingham Airport when a policeman got down on one knee and asked his girlfriend to marry him in the terminal.

Groom-to-be, Gareth Jones, sought the help of Thomson Airways to pop the all-important question to his girlfriend Debra before their flight to Montego Bay, Jamaica.

As the couple from Newport were checking in, the screen above the desk broadcast the message ‘Debra, I Love You, Will You Marry Me?’ and Gareth got down on one knee catching his now fiancé completely by surprise.

She said yes and they jetted off to the five star Sensatori Resort in Jamaica on the 787 Dreamliner.
