Plans for more homes at Digby Court submitted

Solihull Editorial 21st Jan, 2015 Updated: 21st Oct, 2016   0

PLANS for the second phase of home building on the former Bishop Wilson School site have been handed to the Council.

The proposed 41 homes will include one and two bedroom apartments and one, three and four bedroom Family Houses, with Access, Parking, Landscaping and Associated Works in Pike Drive.

In documents handed to the Council developers said the houses would be added to Digby Court which started to be constructed just after the initial 106 homes were granted permission last January.

There will be 79 car parking spaces made on this part of the development and a number of mature trees kept in the plans.

Documents reveal there is a flooding issue with the plans but the developers are working with the Environment Agency and there are hopes a drainage system similar to the one in phase one could be adopted.

Solihull Council planning chiefs are set to make a decision on these plans by March 18.
