BLOSSOMFIELD U9s got their Summer tournament season off to a flying start last Saturday at Knowle Jnrs FC.
Despite torrential rain throughout the morning, the Bloss lads perservered and stuck to their development training. Fantastic all round performances ensured the boys won all of their matches, without conceding a singe goal and carried off the generous trophy provided by the tournament organisers.
With some great competitive and hard fought games, against friendly and like minded opposition, Bloss eventually came out as champions with decisive wins.
“Bloss would like to thank their hosts for perservering with the weather and continuing with the tournament and ensuring all the boys had a fantastic day’s football.” a spokesman said.
Bloss u9’s continue with their summer’s development at tournaments in Tamworth and Solihull this weekend.
