TWO MEN were arrested and a knife was recovered after police stopped a suspected stolen car in Birmingham.
Officers pulled over the vehicle in Bordesley Green around 5.40am when they spotted a car with no registration plates.
The car made off but was brought to a stop in Garrison Lane. After a search a knife was recovered from the vehicle.
A 47-year-old man was detained on suspicion of dangerous driving, theft and possession of a knife. A 36-year-old was detained for theft of a motor vehicle.
They both remain in custody for questioning.
