SOLIHULL Moors have completed the signing of defender Justin Hanks from Premier League side Nottingham Forest.
The 21-year-old centre-back played for Forest’s B team and spent more than 10 years in the club’s academy.
Hanks becomes Solihull’s second summer signing following the recent arrival of Matty Carson.
Hanks said: “I’m really pleased to join Solihull Moors.
“It’s a great club with real ambition, and as soon as I heard about the opportunity, it felt like the right move for me.
“I’m looking forward to getting started, meeting the fans and giving everything to help the team have a successful season.”
Moors boss Chris Millington added: “I’m delighted to have secured the services of Justin, he’s a versatile defender who we have been tracking for a number of months.
“Justin is an important signing in this new era.”
Hanks featured as an unused substitute in both legs of Forest’s UEFA Europa League semi-final defeat against Aston Villa.
He captained the club’s Premier League 2 team from January onwards this season and featured more than 80 times for Forest’s B team.
