A SOLIHULL woman has been arrested for of perverting the course of justice in connection with a man’s death in Kenilworth.
Warickshire Police responded along with paramedics after concerns were raised for the welfare of a man in a house on Chestnut Avenue just before midnight on March 20.
On entering emegrency services discovered the man – 45-year-old Carl Stephens – had died.
A 51-year-old woman from Solihull arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice has been bailed until June while a 72-year-old woman previously arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender was also bailed pending further enquiries.
A 24-year-old man from Birmingham, a 49-year-old woman from Kenilworth and a 16-year-old boy from Kenilworth – have been charged in connection with his death.
They are set to appear at Warwick Crown Court on May 20.
