FAMILIES came together to celebrate Lunar New Year.
Hatchford Brook Family Hub was decorated red and gold to bring good cheer and luck to mark the beginning of the year of the Fire Horse.
In traditional Chinese culture, the horse symbolizes strength, speed, courage, loyalty, freedom and talent.
From traditional arts including chinese calligraphy and arts and crafts as well as Dippy the Clown there was plenty for all to get involved.
The Mayor of Solihull, Council Annette Mackenzie, joined in the festivities as well as organisations including Healthwatch Birmingham and Solihull and Child Bereavement UK were speaking to parents on the side.
