KIND-HEARTED donors have raised almost £50,000 in memory of a Solihull mum.

Victoria Hart, died on January 24 in the town of Alhaurín el Grande in Andalusia, between Marbella and Malaga.

The 33-year-old moved to Alhaurín el Grande, in 1999 and set up a hair and beauty business in the area in 2013.

Victoria’s friend, Maxine Hill, set up a GoFundMe page to raise funds for Victoria’s three children and immediate family.

Paying Tribute to Victoria on the page, Maxine said: “Victoria lived for her children. She fought for them with everything she had, and they were her whole world. Now those children are facing a future without her love, protection and care.

“Until everything is concluded and official support can be accessed, Victoria’s family is currently carrying the full financial responsibility for the children’s immediate needs. This includes essentials such as food, clothing, utilities and day-to-day care.

“We are raising funds to help ease this immediate burden and to provide some stability for the children while the family navigates the unimaginable.”

In just over a week the site has raised more €52,500 (£45,452).

Writing on the page Maxine said: “We want to take a moment to sincerely thank every single person who has donated, shared, or sent messages of support.

“The kindness shown has been overwhelming, and it means more than words can express during this devastating time.

“Thank you for the trust you have placed in us and for standing alongside Victoria’s children and family with such compassion and generosity. Your support will never be forgotten.”
